Privacy Policy — WatchBack GainMore

Last updated 27 September 2026

WatchBack GainMore lets creators earn coins by watching and reviewing other creators' videos, and spend those coins on feedback and views for their own. This policy describes exactly what the app stores, why, who else can see it, and how to remove it. It does not describe anything the app does not do.

What we collect

DataWhy
Email address Identifies your account. Supplied either by you (one-time code sign-in) or by Google (Sign in with Google). We also use it, rarely, to write to you about your account or about the app itself — for example that an update fixes something you use. Never for advertising, and never passed to anyone else. Reply and ask us to stop, and we will not write again except to answer you.
Display handle Shown to other users beside reviews you write. Generated automatically from your account id unless you change it.
YouTube and TikTok video links you submit So other users can watch or review the videos you promote. We also store the video's public title, the channel or account name, and its length — all of which YouTube and TikTok give to anyone who asks about a link.
Coin balance and transaction history Every coin movement is recorded so a balance can be explained.
Watch verification events While a video plays we record playback position and player state every few seconds. This is how the app confirms a view was genuinely watched before paying for it, and how automated farming is detected.
Reviews you write Shown to the creator whose video you reviewed.
When you open the app, which version, and what kind of device The date and time you open the app, how many times that day, the app's version number, and whether it is a phone, tablet, television or Chromebook. Used to tell whether a problem you report is one we have already fixed, and to know which screens are genuinely in use. The kind of device is a category, never an identifier: no model, serial number or advertising ID.
A random ID for this installation of the app The first time the app opens it makes up a random code and keeps it in its own storage; uninstalling the app deletes it. It is sent with your account when you open the app, so we can tell a new installation from an old one — for instance that someone installed the app again, or added a television — and so whether an update drove people away. It is not read from your device and is not linked to anything on it: not the Android ID, not the advertising ID, not the hardware.
Device integrity result Google Play Integrity reports whether the app is the genuine version from Google Play, running on a device Google recognises. We store Google's labels for that check — for example that the device meets basic integrity, or that the app is recognised by Play — and whether it passed. We never receive or store a device identifier, hardware ID, or anything about other apps on your phone.

What we do not collect

Videos are played by YouTube and TikTok

No video is copied onto our servers. Every video in the app plays through YouTube's or TikTok's own embedded player, loaded straight from them by your device. While it plays, that company — not us — receives your IP address, may set its own cookies, and collects information according to Google's Privacy Policy or TikTok's Privacy Policy. We do not control what they collect through their player, we receive nothing from it beyond the playback position described above, and we send them nothing about you — not your email address, not your handle, not your account.

Because the app plays videos through YouTube's embedded player, it uses YouTube API Services. By using it you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service, and Google's handling of any data collected through that player is governed by the Google Privacy Policy linked above. You can revoke this application's access to your data through Google's security settings page — though the app asks for no access to your YouTube account in the first place, so there is normally nothing there to revoke.

Fair use and automatic checks

Coins are paid for real watching and real reviews, so the app checks its own work. These checks run automatically:

Accounts that farm coins with bots, scripts or modified copies of the app may be suspended, and coins earned that way may be removed. If you believe an automatic decision about your account was wrong, email us from your account's address and a person will look at it.

Who your data is shared with

We do not sell data and do not share it for advertising. It is processed by these providers on our behalf, and only for the purpose given:

Other users of the app can see your handle, the videos you promote, and any reviews you write. They cannot see your email address.

We will disclose data to authorities only where the law requires it, or where it is needed to investigate fraud or abuse of the app.

Where your data is stored

Data is held by Supabase and processed by Google, whose servers may be in a different country from yours. Both providers apply their own safeguards for data they hold on behalf of others.

How it is protected

All data travels encrypted between the app and the server. Each account can read and change only its own records, enforced by the database itself rather than by the app. Coin movements go through server-side checks the app cannot bypass. If we ever learn of a breach affecting your data, we will tell affected users and, where the law requires, the authorities.

Your rights

You can ask us to show you the data we hold about you, correct it, give you a copy of it, or delete it. Email us from your account's address; we will confirm it is you and reply within 30 days.

Deleting your account

Open the menu and choose Delete account. This immediately and permanently removes your profile, your submitted videos, your reviews, your watch history, and your coin ledger. It cannot be undone, and coins are not refundable because they have no cash value.

Coins other people already earned for reviewing or watching your videos stay with them — their work is not undone by your account closing.

If you cannot access the app, email the address below from the account's email address and we will delete it for you. More detail is on the account deletion page.

How long data is kept

Account data is kept until you delete your account. Watch verification events and integrity results are kept so a disputed payout can be reconstructed, and are removed with the account.

Children

The app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will remove it.

Changes

If this policy changes materially we will update the date at the top and surface a notice in the app before the change takes effect.
